  • The Holy Spirit as the source of power for ministry.

Week 2 - The Holy Spirit’s Role in Jesus’ Ministry​

  • Jesus begins His ministry in the power of the Spirit.

  • The Holy Spirit descends upon Jesus at His baptism.

  • Jesus receives the Spirit without measure.

Week 3 -  Day 3: The Holy Spirit’s Gifts for Ministry

  • The gifts of the Holy Spirit.

  • The diverse gifts given to the church.

  • The Holy Spirit equips leaders for ministry

Week 4 - Walking in the Spirit – Practical Ministry Application

  • .Walking in the Spirit and the fruit of the Spirit

  • Being led by the Spirit as children of God.

A 6-week Coaching Program for senior pastors interested in introducing the Holy Spirit to their churches, structured around biblical teaching, practical application, and leadership development.

Week 1: Foundations of the Holy Spirit​

    • Who is the Holy Spirit? 

    • The Holy Spirit’s role in salvation and sanctification.

    • Dispelling myths and misunderstandings.

Week 2: The Holy Spirit in Church History​:

    • The Holy Spirit in the early church .

    • The role of the Holy Spirit during various revivals (e.g., Azusa Street Revival).

    • Denominational views on the Holy Spirit (e.g., Pentecostal, Baptist, etc.).

Week 3: The Role of the Holy Spirit in Worship and Prayer

  • Spirit-led worship (John 4:24).

  • The Holy Spirit in intercessory prayer (Romans 8:26-27).

  • Creating space for the Holy Spirit in church services.

Week 4: Introducing the Holy Spirit in Preaching and Teaching

  • Preaching on the person and work of the Holy Spirit.

  • Overcoming fear or resistance in congregations.

  • ​Balancing teaching and experiential knowledge

 Week 5: The Gifts of the Holy Spirit

  • Identifying and activating spiritual gifts 

  • The purpose of gifts in building up the church.

  • Discernment and order in using spiritual gifts

Week 6: Cultivating a Spirit-Filled Church Culture

  • Building a culture of openness to the Holy Spirit.

  • Leading Spirit-led ministries (healing, prophecy, etc.).

  • Developing Spirit-filled leadership within the church.

Week 1 - Understanding the Role of the Senior Pastor in the Spirit-Led Church

  • Biblical leadership and the Holy Spirit’s guidance 

  • Modeling spiritual leadership through personal experience with the Holy Spirit.

  • Creating a vision for a Spirit-led church.

Week 2: Biblical Foundations of the Holy Spirit

  • The Holy Spirit in creation and throughout biblical history.

  • The Holy Spirit’s role in the life and ministry of Jesus.

  • The Holy Spirit’s work in the early church. 

Week 3: The Holy Spirit and Personal Transformation

  • The indwelling of the Holy Spirit.

  • The fruit of the Spirit as evidence of transformation.

  • Fostering spiritual discipline (prayer, fasting, etc.) to grow in the Spirit.​

  • Theological clarity when teaching on the Holy Spirit (Ephesians 1:13-14).

  • Addressing congregational questions or resistance.

  • Structuring sermons that focus on the Holy Spirit's work

Week 5: The Holy Spirit in Worship and Corporate Prayer

  • Spirit-led worship dynamics (Psalm 150, John 4:24).

  • Fostering a culture of prayer in the congregation.

  • Integrating the Holy Spirit in church services and special events.

Week 6: The Gifts of the Holy Spirit and Their Function in the Church

  • Identifying spiritual gifts (1 Corinthians 12, Romans 12:6-8).

  • Teaching and activating spiritual gifts in the congregation.

  • Addressing proper use and order of gifts (1 Corinthians 14).

Week 7: Overcoming Resistance to the Holy Spirit​

  • Understanding reasons for resistance (theological, cultural, experiential).

  • Addressing common misconceptions about the Holy Spirit (cessationism, etc.).

  • Practical steps to nurture openness in resistant congregations.

Week 8: Creating and Leading Spirit-Led Ministries

  • Developing prayer ministries, healing ministries, and prophetic ministries.

  • The role of the Holy Spirit in outreach and evangelism (Acts 1:8).

  • Nurturing Spirit-led leadership within the church.

Week 9: Sustaining a Spirit-Led Church Culture

  • Building a leadership team that embraces the Holy Spirit.

  • Encouraging continual openness to the Spirit’s movement.

  • Evaluating and adjusting ministry practices to remain Spirit-led.
